About us

sharon and samsara♥ Samsara and Sharon have created this beautiful space to serve the community and surrounding areas. To help parents with their birth choices, be a hub of information and education and to nurture and support women though their journey into motherhood and beyond.

Samsara brings her wealth of knowledge and experience as a mother of four children, a foster carer, doula, placenta encapsulation specialist and childbirth educator, both in this country and Australia for many years. She has a passion for the miracle of childbirth and for babies, it was her dream to create a place where women, families and their babies could come and feel nourished and supported ante-nataly, post-nataly and in the early years.

Sharon owned and ran the Sanctuary Cafe in Hove where she created a haven for the local community, she has a great passion, love and understanding for children and has worked as a nanny and foster carer.

Their vision for the Muma Baby Sanctuary is a place where women and families can feel safe and held, having one of the many therapies on offer. A place where ethically sourced natural, organic, mother and baby products can be purchased and a space where mums can just pop in to feed their baby and enjoy a rest and a chat!

♥ Samsara is holding a beautiful series of classes called “The Muma Baby Way” to support and prepare new mumas through pregnancy and their birth journey. Please click here for more details

Thoughts and Words from some of our Beautiful Muma’s…

“Thank you so much for all your support since Herbie was born.  You are always so welcoming and calming.  It is incredible to know that there is somewhere so beautiful to go when things are tough and equally when things are joyous!  The Muma Baby Sanctuary is invaluable, it makes being a mummy so much more rewarding and gives me the reassurance I need. thanks ! with love.”

(Herbie’s Mum… Becky)

“I have been coming to the Mumas and babies group since Grace was 10 days old.  We’ve just celebrated her first year and hand on heart I know I owe much of my confidence and happiness to the women I’ve shared everything with here, and the incredible support of Sharon and Samsara.  Motherhood for me has thrown some obstacles my way and I have benefited enormously from the treatments on offer.”

(Gracie’s Mum… Natasha)

“I have been coming to The Muma Baby Sanctuary since I was pregnant and am still coming now that my son is one, for advice, support, classes, remedies and treatments. It is that rarest of things: a true sanctuary. A place of stillness, humour and comfort from the drama of adjusting to parenthood. I am very grateful it exists.”

(Clay’s Mum… Danielle)
